Bestselling author Chanel Miller will present her new middle-grade novel, “Magnolia Wu Unfolds It All,” at an event hosted by Linden Tree Books. The launch event takes place in Palo Alto at All Saints Episcopal Church.

Miller’s book (suggested for grades 2-6) tells the story of 10-year-old Magnolia Wu, who’s on a mission to reunite all the lost socks left behind at her parents’ New York laundromat but isn’t having much luck until a new friend moves to town from the West Coast. The two set off on mystery-solving journeys across the city, learning life lessons along the way.

Writer and artist Miller, raised in Palo Alto, published her critically acclaimed, powerful memoir “Know My Name” in 2020.
