Daniel John DiCicco
Oct. 21, 1964-Nov. 12, 2019
San Jose, California

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our oldest, beloved son Daniel who left us this past November after a long and debilitating illness. Daniel, or Danny as most of us called him, grew up in Palo Alto, went to Crescent Park Elementary school, Jordan Middle school and Palo Alto High. After high school he entered the U.S. Army and completed a 6 mo. commitment. He then returned to this area moved to San Jose and with the help of his life long partner, Lorie Catelli started a successful furniture and restaurant refinishing business. His fine eye for woodwork and color can be seen at many of the upscale restaurants and bars in the San Jose, Los Gatos and Palo Alto. As it said on his cards, “Danny Love’s Finishing - You’ll love us when we’re finished”. Danny was a wonderful and exceptionally kind person and he will be greatly missed by those of us who were lucky enough to have known him. He is survived by his parents, John and Patt, his two brothers, Matthew and Benjamin and his nephews Matthew junior and Henry and his niece, Delaney. God speed Daniel.
