Health care proposal cruel and indefensible

The public must continue to oppose, loudly and forcefully, the Republicans' proposals to replace the current Affordable Care Act with a program that would leave Americans with far less health care access. The current Senate proposal would significantly impact health care in Santa Clara County.

That's the question facing voters, who are asked to approve a $223 parcel tax that will go toward funding core school services in the school district, which encompasses a portion of Mountain View.
