'The Christmas Ballet' returns to Mountain View

Annual Smuin ballet production mixes classic with contemporary

Smuin presents "The Christmas Ballet" Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St.

The annual performances combine classical ballet and contemporary dance into a two-act show ("Classical Christmas," featuring traditional carols, followed by "Cool Christmas," featuring pop favorites).

Show times are 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $59-$93. More information is available at Smuin.
