National Decision Day

Uploaded: May 1, 2019
(written by Lori McCormick)

Today is National Decision Day!

What this means is that today is the deadline for high school students to commit to their college. There are many four year and community colleges who offer rolling admissions, so today’s deadline does not apply to all. However, for the colleges that do require a student to commit by May 1st, it is usually a day of excitement and relief. Students have cautiously and holistically reviewed their pros and cons and ultimately have made their final decision.

In honor of Decision Day, high school students like to reveal their decision by wearing the shirt of their chosen college. Not all students do this but to the ones who are participating, enjoy your reveal day!

Congratulations to the class of 2019! May your next four (or so) college years be filled with academic and personal enrichment and purpose.

Community.
What is it worth to you?
