Ad Libs: A farewell show

Uploaded: Jan 17, 2013
Sorry to hear that South Bay painter Terri Hill is leaving Viewpoints Gallery in Los Altos, where she's been showing her watercolors for several years. In this uber-cycling-friendly area, she's known for her cheerful, color-popping bike paintings where gears and spokes are often the stars. We put her "Parked in Palo Alto" on the Weekly's cover a few years back.

I hear that Terri has been battling an illness, and we wish her well. This month, she and another Terri (Ford, who is also leaving the gallery) are having a farewell exhibit at Viewpoints. Watercolors and pastels, scenes of rocks and beaches, bikes and bridges.

Pictured: "Daffodils," a watercolor painting by Terri Hill.
