What does being gay have anything to do with Chris Clark running for City Council?
If a fact isn't pertinent to the story, leave it out.

Clark made a issue of being gay. MV Voice just reported it. No big deal. At least I am pleased to see that he put some effort into building his skill set.
People are known by the company they keep, so I'll be crossing Capriles off the list.

If Chris Clark's emphasis on smart growth and the environment that he has shown on the Environmental Planning Commission carry over to the City Council, I wholly support his candidacy. I've found his positions on things like the General Plan update to be among the most thoughtful and truly progressive on the whole EPC. I wish him the best in his run.

McAllister is a militant anti-tobacco crusader. He won't be getting my vote.

I've had the pleasure of working with Chris Clark for a few years. He's incredibly smart and effective, and I look forward to his campaign.
