Mountain View parents rally for safer streets

There have been numerous car vs bicycle and especially car vs pedestrian collisions in Mountain View in the past year, mostly during the morning rush hour and mostly with children as the victims. Mountain View parents are rallying for safer streets. Story in the Mercury-News: Web Link

The print version title of this is more accurate _ "tour". Many of the people on this were bike friendly, but it was informational (with a slant). Hardly a 'take over the streets' time. Good time, good company, good weather, good information (good citizen organization). or Great Streets.
