Current eighth-grade students set to enter ninth grade at either Mountain View or Los Altos high school are invited to come along with their parents to Parent/Student Information Night on Thursday, Jan. 27.

Both events, one at each campus, will begin at 6:30 and will be held in the respective school's gymnasium.

According to a press release from the district, the night is intended to provide parents and incoming students information on classes offered as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Teachers, administrators and current high school students will be on sight to answer questions. Childcare and Spanish translation will also be available.

Parents who plan on sending their child to either Mountain View or Los Altos are expected to attend, and parents with children currently in private school are also encouraged to come if they are considering transitioning their kids to public schools.
