Five iPads were stolen over the Christmas holiday from a business in Mountain View. That business?
Microsoft.
According to Sgt. Sean Thompson, public information officer for the the Mountain View Police Department, the five tablet computers were taken from the 1075 La Avenida St. offices sometime between Dec. 19 and Dec. 26.
There is no suspect information and it is unknown how whoever stole the devices managed to enter the building, as there was no sign of forced entry, Thompson said.
Microsoft officials are apparently looking through security footage to see if it might reveal any clues. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
