Thousands of PG&E customers in Mountain View are without power this morning, a PG&E spokesman said.
A power outage, affecting roughly 8,957 customers, was reported around 6:25 a.m., PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.
The outage is affecting an area including Central Avenue, Rengstroff Avenue, Middlefield Avenue and San Antonio Road, Guidi said.
As of about 7:30 a.m., power was restored to all but 3,890 customers, according to Guidi.
There is no estimated time of when power will be restored, he said.
The cause of the outage is under investigation, according to Guidi.
