11-year-old runaway found safe

An 11-year-old boy who apparently ran away from his Mountain View home on Saturday has been found and is safe, according to police.

Police took to social media to solicit the public's help in finding Bryan Lazo, who ran away on Saturday at around 12:30 p.m.. He returned home today at around noon, according to Mountain View police.

The boy was not injured and has been reunited with his family.

"We are still working with him and his family to get to the root of the problem," said Sgt. Saul Jaeger.
