Avoiding gluten store tour

Coffee Tasting 101 at Red Rock

'Basics of Serving Wine' seminar

La Fete de la Biere at Left Bank
Left Bank in Menlo Park is hosting a two-day "Fete de la Biere" (beer festival) on Feb. 1 and 2. Each course of special lunch and dinner prix fixe menus will be paired with a beer sample from San Diego-based Karl Strauss Brewing Company. The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Cost: $30. Big Basin Vineyards dinner
For the deep-pocketed wine-and-food aficionados: The Village Pub Executive Chef Dmitry Elperin has put together a special three-course menu to pair with wines from Big Basin, a Santa Cruz Mountains winery. Festa Regionale at Il Fornaio: Umbria
